 
Dr. Govine
conducted co-mediations for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission (EEOC) Los Angeles District Office, focusing on employment
distrimination, for example, race, gender and age. She
formerly provided mediation in a variety of areas for Small Claims Court, Van Nuys
District, Van Nuys, California. Her background as an expert witness,
litigation consultant and investigtor in employment discrimination has
sharpened her mediation skills. As part of her professional development,
Dr. Govine participated in numerous mediation training workshops provided
by the Los Angeles Superior Court. She completed the Alternative
Dispute Resolution Certificate Program at Pepperdine University School of
Law, Fall 2002.
Dr. Govine was
chosen in October 2001, by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission, Washington headquarters, to provide mediation in employment
discrimination disputes throughout Southern California.
